Abstract: The book consists of about 2,000 Korean-Vietnamese commonly used conversational utterances in everyday situations, with 491 pages including an introduction, Korean language overview, reference, citation and 35 lessons basing on basic conversational situations (greetings, asking for directions, congratulating, promising, asking, etc.) or in certain public places (schools, hairdresser’s, hotels, post offices, banks, etc). In each lesson, there are about 2-6 small conversations related to the main theme, with a comprehensible and concise new word explanation, grammatical structure introduction. The book is compiled with data and materials from several sources for references, especially Korean language textbooks. Based on the needs and characteristics of Vietnamese learners, typical situations similar to everyday life of native speakers with subtle nuances of expressions are selected.
